Founded in 2007, the HRI is a UK-based charity dedicated to promoting high-quality homeopathic research internationally.
It was set up by Dr Alexandre Tournier, a physicist by training and a former employee of the Cancer Research UK research center where he carried out interdisciplinary research at the frontiers of mathematics, physics and biology.
In 2010, Rachel Roberts joined the HRI, bringing the benefits of over a decade of work as a homeopathic clinician and lecturer, combined with expertise in communicating the research database and representing the UK homeopathic profession, acquired during her years as a research consultant for the Society of Homeopaths.
After 10 years of hard work in presenting evidence around the world, the Institute has established itself as an authority on homeopathic research.
